Microsoft ended support for Windows Server 2003 on July 14, 2015. This deadline has the same ramifications as last year’s Windows XP End of Support (EoS) i.e. Microsoft will no longer patch Windows Server 2003 for new security vulnerabilities. In the meantime, new vulnerabilities will keep cropping up for the aging OS. For example, during 2013 Microsoft released 37 critical updates for Windows Server 2003.
All of our current clients have migrated away from Windows Server 2003, either by moving to a later server O/S or as in the case of some of our smaller clients, ditched an on-premise server altogether.
We can therefore honestly say that we have a wealth of experience in migrating SMB users away from Windows Server 2003 with a range of different and innovative solutions.
